Depth

This project was very difficult for me. I could get pictures of leading lines and repetition but taking pictures of foreground/background was hard for me. Mr. Whiton came out and really helped me find pictures with depth and foreground and background. After I figured out how to get good pictures this project became really fun.

  1. Goodjob! I like the quality of your ohots, they look really sharp and clear and don't seem too edited. I think that you really captured the background/foreground aspect of the assignment and you took them from very different and interesting angles.

  2. Your picture of the repeating lights is really good. It clearly shows what the assignment asked for. I also like how there is a yellow tint to it. I just wish that there was something else in the photo in order to make the repetition stronger. Great work with all your photos though!

  3. I think you mastered the foreground/background series, which I think was the hardest to take. You created a lot of depth within the streets. I also like how you used inanimate objects and real pictures as the subjects. The picture of the white building wall with the leading lines clearly shows the assignment, good job! One suggestion is cleaning up your combo shots? because I don't really see any of the themes with depth. Also you could have experimented with unusual angles to take the pictures with, because a lot of the pictures look generic and similar to each other.

  4. You tackled the repetition concept very strong. You did a good job addressing all types of depth, with each picture being of something different. I found it hard to find all of these types of depth but you seem to have found them all! Good job, i like the angles and colors used.
