I took pictures of people, around Drew and put them into a comic. I'm hoping to take more pictures so I can make more comics. I enjoyed making this because I like to write stories and this project was another way to do that.
these photos are very interesting, it is nice that you are doing something totally new that none of us have done yet, i cant wait see and read the next batch!
I like how you brought comic life into your project because no one else has used it. It makes it unique and creates a story that brings all your photos together.
I love the idea of using real people in your comic, it adds a realistic aspect to something that tends to be cartoonish. I also like the story created, even with the blurbs just from the people's expressions I could tell what was going on. You might also want to try and add in photos that show setting.
this is a great start. try to mix the panel design from page to page. the last 2 are very similar, though the panel choices do support the drama. this comes back to pacing the "beats" of your dialog and action. maybe a splash page in between with 1 image of students fleeing and cowering? another thing to explore in your next short piece is to photograph "actors" in character & action (rather than looking at the camera).
I thought these comics were interesting, especially because i was the bad guy. I think you should not use the same photos to convey different things, you should try and take more photos so you can use a different photo for each strip.
